Tow Trucks for Tots in conjunction with Worldwide Equipment Sales, delivers toys to the Mark Your Mark Foundation event on Mark’s Birthday. Mark Staehely was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma, a painful nerve cancer, when he was 12 years old. In 2000, Mark founded a local toy drive in Shorewood, IL for other children coping with cancer. He asked to donate 150 toys to the pediatric cancer unit at Children’s Memorial Hospital – now Lurie Children’s Hospital. Unfortunately, Mark lost his battle with cancer. His relatives created the Make Your Mark Foundation in his memory to collect donations for pediatric cancer research.
