Tow Trucks for Tots organized a special event in Queens Borough, NY after the devastating Super Storm Sandy in October of 2012. Sandy’s impacts included flooding of New York’s Subway system, many of the suburban communities, and most road tunnels entering Manhattan. Tow Trucks for Tots drove a trailer full of toys to Queens Borough to present to it’s President, Helen Marshall and all of the wonderful volunteers, so that families in need could experience a Christmas morning of presents after such a powerful storm. The trip included Pat Winer & family, Jim Bresnahan of Chariot Automotive & Towing, John and Jeri Meyers of Grosse Pointe Towing, and Chelsea Eastwick of Bob’s Radiator Service from Atco, New Jersey.
