Tow Trucks for Tots participated in a special event in Gatlinburg, Tennessee bringing relief to the areas of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge which suffered wildfires beginning in late November 2016.

By December 12th, 2016, the fires burned more than 10,000 acres (15 square miles) inside the national park, and 6,000 acres in other parts of the area. The Great Smoky Mountains wildfires were the deadliest wildfires in Tennessee.
