Tow Trucks for Tots participated in a special event in Chicago, Illinois to donate toys for Maryville Academy’s Thanksgiving dinner. Maryville Academy is located in Des Plaines, Illinois and is the largest residential childcare facility in the State of Illinois and serves over 1,800 children annually. Maryville Academy requested assistance with toy donations for the upcoming holiday season and Tow Trucks for Tots answered the call.
Loaded with a trailer full of toys, representatives from Tow Trucks for Tots drove down to Harry Carey’s restaurant and delivered the toys. Maryville Academy hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for some of their children at the restaurant, hosted by Brandon Marshall of the Chicago Bears and his foundation. The children were given a Thanksgiving meal, enjoyed the Chicago Sports Museum, the received the donated toys. Much thanks to the Winer family, Jim Bresnahan from Chariot Automotive & Towing, Dick Bartel and Mickie Wilcox from Dick’s Towing, Rusty West from E&R Towing and Jeff & Joe Skrvala from AutoMedics Towing for volunteering your time.
